(SURP)

Members Health’s Substance Use Recovery Program (SURP) is a full-service program that provides expert support for your members and employees every step of the way through the recovery process.

The main focus of this specialized program is to offer union representatives and employers direct and timely assistance in effectively addressing the drug and alcohol related issues concerning members or employees in violation of internal substance use policies, or for those who are suspected of substance use problems, or who self-report a substance related concern.

 

SURP supports organizations and their members at each of the key stages of the recovery process- assessment, treatment, and relapse prevention.  Consultations and guidance to managers are given and updates are provided with consent.  Referrals into Members Health’s SURP must be initiated by the union or employer representative.
